Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications provide students with relevant, transferrable skills and knowledge that todays employers are looking for.  VET qualifications completed in Years 10, 11 & 12 contribute to WACE and can provide entry pathways to University other than ATAR or further training.  VET qualifications available to students cover industry areas such as: Trades Area, Business, Retail, Hospitality, Information Technology, Animal Studies and Health.

School-based Traineeships (SBT) and School-based Apprenticeship (SBA) programs provide secondary school students opportunities to achieve a qualification, enter the world of work and be paid while they are still at school with qualifications contributing to their WACE requirements.

Endorsed Programs recognised by Schools Curriculum Standards Authority (SCSA) provide a wide range of opportunities for students to achieve WACE unit equivalence: e.g Workplace Learning, ASDAN.
